In cooperation with Lidl North Macedonia, the Ministry of Transport and the Chamber of Commerce of North Macedonia, a "Business-to-Business" conference dedicated to the construction and real estate sectors was held in Skopje. The event brought together key partners and companies with which Lidl actively cooperates in the process of implementing its projects throughout the country.
The conference was opened by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms. Kaltrina Zekoli -Shaqiri, who stated that "the investment by Lidl brings freshness to the market, opens new perspectives for the economy and is proof that North Macedonia offers excellent conditions for sustainable development and an equal partnership between the state and business."
The conference presented the high professional standards that Lidl applies in all segments of its operations, starting from the selection of the location, the design and construction of the project, to health and safety at work, energy efficiency and certification of the facilities. With clear and transparent tender procedures, strict technical supervision and sustainable construction solutions, Lidl shows that every step of the company is in line with the best European practices.
"Lidl is a serious investor entering the market with a clear vision and long-term commitment. Our strategy includes the continuous construction of modern, energy-efficient and safe infrastructure throughout the country," said Rubriyan Hadzhiev, Chief Operating Officer of Lidl North Macedonia.
